Amantea is one of those restaurants that has been around for a long time, but doesn't get too much traffic aside from life long locals because of its location. The walls are painted with scenes of the Sicilian countryside, making it seem like you're there. Their garlic parmesan bread is amazing, covered with lots of minced garlic and thin slices of tomato. Though they could stand to do remodel or at least get new flooring.
Sports Venue Bar & Grill

Sports Venue has great food, great drink specials, and a lively pub-like atmosphere. They have pool, darts and arcade games. A ton of HDTVs to watch the game, it is a sports bar after all. On the weekends there's either live music or a DJ, and during the week they have other entertainment such as live trivia. The crowd is more down to earth and much less trashy than you'll find at some other bars in the area.

The food is fresh and flavorful at Al Sultan. They make their hummus fresh from scratch every day. The dishes are plentiful and the service is friendly and fast. The prices are affordable and the servings are generous. This is the best middle eastern food to be found in the area according to many, many people. Nearly everything on the menu is fantastic, aside from the hummus I would suggest getting yourself a chicken shwarma.

A wonderful Middle Eastern sub shop, the name refers to the old time local favorite "Mangos" in Dearborn just west of Wyoming on Warren Rd. The setup is nearly the exact same, just updated and in a new location. They are now located on Ford Rd. in Garden City directly next door to another local favorite Platos. If you are seeking a fresh, quality sub ignoring the marketing of Subway and make your way here, it is sure to be the freshest sub from bread to garnish you will ever try.
